Credits: Written and Illustrated by Tony Millionaire
Publisher: Fantagraphics Books

MAAKIES pretty much defies description. A collection of Millionaire's weekly comic strip of the same name, MAAKIES sort of follows the adventures (?) of an oftentimes seafaring and drunken crow, his inebriated... um... Goat-Mouse pal of some sort as they navigate the hideousness of a cold and uncaring world. They drink and die.

A lot.

Sometimes, other things happen.

Even if the content upsets you - and stick with it because it will - Millionaire's almost ethereal pen and ink line-work somehow eases MAAKIES down all the easier, a sugarcoated cyanide pill. MAAKIES is self-loathing drunkfunny at its finest and blackest. MAAKIES is twisted. It's really fucking twisted. MAAKIES will confuse you, and then shame you by making you laugh at it. You will then hate yourself for being such a rotten bastard, and yet you will keep reading. And you will keep laughing. So twisted as to be insidious, MAAKIES will pollute your head for a good long time. You sick bastard. You should be ashamed.
